Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
1. Introduction
skedule("we", "us", or "our") operates https://skedule.xyz and provides a web application that helps creators and teams schedule and publish content to social media platforms. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our service.
By using skedule, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account information
When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address and password through our authentication provider. We use this information to create and manage your account and to secure access to the service.
2.2 Connected social media account information
If you choose to connect a social media account, we receive information from that platform after you authorize our application through its OAuth or similar authorization process. Depending on the platform and the permissions you grant, this may include:
- Platform user identifier
- Username or handle
- Display name
- Profile avatar URL
- OAuth access and refresh tokens
- Granted permissions or scopes
- Token expiration information
We only receive data from a connected platform after you explicitly authorize our app through that platform's consent screen. We do not access your social media accounts without your authorization.
2.3 Scheduled content and media
When you use skedule to schedule posts, we collect and store:
- Post titles, descriptions, and captions
- Scheduled date and time
- Target platform for each post
- Post status and any error messages from publishing attempts
- Publishing settings you select, such as privacy level, audience visibility, and interaction preferences
- Commercial content disclosure settings
- Uploaded photos and videos you provide for publishing
- Platform publish identifiers returned after successful posts
2.4 Technical and usage information
We automatically collect limited technical information necessary to operate the service, such as session data, authentication cookies, and temporary OAuth security cookies used during social media account connection.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the skedule service
- Authenticate you and manage your account
- Connect and manage your linked social media accounts through authorized platform APIs
- Display your connected account information within the dashboard
- Schedule and publish content to connected platforms at the times and with the settings you choose
- Store uploaded media until it is published or deleted
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you
- Improve, secure, and troubleshoot the service
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use connected platform data for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to providing the scheduling and publishing features you request.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share information only as necessary to provide the service or as required by law:
4.1 Social media platforms
When you schedule a post, we send content and publishing settings to the relevant social media platform through its authorized API so that your content can be published to your connected account. Each platform processes this information under its own privacy policy and terms.
4.2 Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate skedule.
These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the service and are permitted to use it only as needed to perform their services for us.
4.3 Legal requirements
We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, such as court orders or regulatory inquiries.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Authentication cookies — to keep you signed in to your skedule account
- OAuth cookies — temporary, secure cookies used during social media account connection for CSRF protection and authorization verification; these are cleared after authorization completes
- Preference cookies — such as sidebar state in the dashboard
You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent you from signing in or connecting social media accounts.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Specifically:
- Account and connected platform data is retained until you delete your account or disconnect a platform
- Scheduled post data and uploaded media are retained until you delete the post or your account
- OAuth tokens are retained while a social media account remains connected so we can publish on your behalf
We may retain certain information where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
You can also take the following actions directly in the app:
- Disconnect social media accounts from Settings, which revokes our access and removes stored connection tokens
- Delete scheduled posts and associated media
- Revoke skedule's access through each connected platform's account or app settings

8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
10. Children's Privacy
skedule is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. You must meet the minimum age requirements of any connected social media platform to link an account and use publishing features. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
Our service integrates with social media platforms and other third-party services. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of skedule after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
